I have to buy fresh greens every week-- other items may last longer. Watercress gets stinky before the end of the week even. And, when mixing squashes and other veggies, these types would get slimy on me! I tend to cut them up freshly with every meal. However, it has been a big time saver to cut all my greens up and mix most of them in big tupperware containers for the week. Sleestack isn't extremely picky, but Flapjack the beardie would never eat anything but the freshest veggies (if any at all)-- I remember when he would only eat watercress that was 1-2 days old & after that he would turn his nose up! (now he won't touch it at all!) I digress.... I'm tired and don't even remember what I'm talking about :-) time to go to bed!
