Hi Candace, good to see you here! Roxy is doing better but not well yet...she still has eggs inside her and is passing about 1 every four-five days. We have been to the vet again, and we are waiting for Roxy to pass the rest, and then back to the vet in a week or two for another x-ray and check-up. The vet recommended we spay Roxy but we haven't made our decision yet.
Aside from her eggs, the vet said Roxy had an EXCELLENT blood test and she is in great health...she said her bones are in outstanding condition (from looking at the x-ray) hopefully she is right on target.
Roxy is also shedding, which she hasn't done since we adopted her...so I am glad for that.
I am telling you, I should be the person you refer people to when they ask "How much does an Iguana really cost?" as her vet bills are quite large! But we love taking care of her.
I hope reptile rescue is doing good, by the looks of it your adoption numbers are going down!
Well thank you for clearing up the toxic food list issue! And also look for our adoption contract in the mail finally! If you ever need a foster home up here in Bradford, we would be happy to help you!
