not sure if that trick would work with other igs but it does make sense that it helped Lucy if that's her usual position and she couldn't quite manage it ... and it makes sense that you'd wanna get the ol' tail outta the way! *grin* ...

when iZ still used his paper-towel-lined 'litter box', he would "go" standing up on his hind legs!!!! cracked me up when i 1st saw him do it!

when he 1st started going in the bathtub, i'd have the showerhose just trickling water across the bottom of the tub to warm it up and iZ would *very carefully* line his vent up with the tub drain before "going" ... pretty neat trick and i feel bad for not letting him continue to do it ... BUT ...

iguana waste *IS* a major indicator of health and iZ *does* have some major ongoing health concerns, so humommy has to be able to examine what comes out ... (some people think i have no life ...) it's very much a "Parent-Thing"!!!! LOL ...

the main theme does seem to be to Keep The Tail Clean tho!
