In my opinion, giving your iguana max time outside during the summer, can help get the iguana through the winter months with just a 5.0 UVB tube.
These companies can't be trusted, a prime example is is HOT ROCKS, look at all the companies that were pushing these for Iguanas. Tell everyone that they were needed to raise an iguana. Now look at them....most have taken off the iguana on these products, but the damage has been done. I couldn't count the number of iguanas burned by hot rocks that I know of, on 12 sets of hands!!
