regarding your post to Todd's ... yep, i use the "first foods" .... just went and checked my cupboard and read the labels to double check *grin* ..... all that's in them is the vegies and water ....
as far as too bland .... i think they only taste bland to us because we're used to butter, salt, pepper, etc .... can't imagine why they'd be bad for them since it's basically what they eat anyway ... ????? altho i haven't found Gerber's Collard Greens .... YET!
i think the only way baby food and/or Pedialyte could be bad is if you give them too much at a time ("overfeed" them) when they're sick .... and that's where being able to read your ig comes in handy .... when iZ was sick,he would let me open his mouth and spoon feed him but when he's had enough, that mouth is clamped shut tight and then i stop and don't even try to coax him .... sometimes that was after only 2 of those little bitty baby spoons, but full is full when you don't feel good .... we've all had days where we just don't want to eat .....
that's MY rationale anyway .... would like to here other's input too!!!!
