You've got to provide a well balanced nutritional program if you want a healthy ig. Greens only isn't enough. Try finely chopping the greens and adding it to the other fruits and veggies. Make sure everything is tossed well so he can't just pick out the greens -he will try that too lol but if everything is well mixed it makes it harder to do that.

As far as over feeding -our vet tells us that if we're feeding the right foods, over feeding isn't an issue. As far as I know, it's not like with gold fish where they will eat until they burst. Dharma has been eating like a horse (2-3 sometimes 4 cups of food a day) while she has been rehabbing. I let her eat however much she wants but before she ever gets a full dish of greens only, she's gotta eat her other veggies first.
