I can't get over how cute she is! She is so gentle too. She lets us pick her up without even fighting us most of the time. She loves to explore the house with a little coaxing from me. What I mean is that she won't just go wandering off by herself. I have to be there in sight usually walking along behind her. She was hanging out on the couch and Kirby (our grey cat who is about a year old) went up and touched noses with Lucy. Lucy tried to bite his nose but Kirby is a bit quicker that Lucy so he made it out alive. Betsy (our one year old black and white cat) tried the same thing. This time, Lucy let her touch noses and only backed away slowly then turned her head and looked at Betsy with a funny look. I would never leave Lucy unsupervised but it's nice to know that if I turn my back for a couple of minutes, the cats are not going to attack her. I have two other cats as well and they seem to pretty much steer clear of her. I found out just how strong she is this morning. Wow! I was really surprised! They are tough! She didn't want to poop in her birdbath but I was running late and didn't feel like filling the tub. I tried to hold her in the water until she calmed down and pooped (this has worked before) but this time nothing doing! She grabbed onto the edge of the birdbath and started yanking and twisting and whipping! I didn't hold her there for long because I didn't want to injure her. I can's wait to see how strong she gets when she's bigger! She's only 2.2 pounds now and already she can take me! Russell.
