Hi there... glad you came here...
First things.... your tank will not be of use for long. 30 gallons will not be big enough for longer than a few months. Iguanas need height more than width as they need to climb.
Your diet is poor (and I am not condemning you, just trying to help). Please see the diet at www.iguanaden.com for better choices. These are some of the things I feed my igs: Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, Escarole, Arugala, Watercress, green beans, carrots, parsnip, dandelion leaves, strawberries.
Do you have temp & humidity gages in the tank?
If not, please get them asap. The temp in the basking area during the day should be about 90 degrees. You should bathe him in the tub everyday for about 20 minutes in warm water. This helps w/ hydration & aids in shedding.
My BEST advice to anyone w/ an ig would be to buy Melissa Kaplans book "Iguanas For Dummies" it is an easy read & has a lot of important info if you want your ig to live.
They can "look" healthy & die in a matter of days without you being aware they are ill. So it is important to be sure they are getting the best care. Please check out this site as well:
www.anapsid.org & go to iguana care.
Oh & welcome... we are always here to help.
Kimberley
