Yeppers,
The place we own was built back in 1890. Tons of "old stuff" around here. Plaster, floorboards, brass plumbing, tin ceilings, clawfoot tubs... Knob and tube wiring, old screw in fuses, drafts in almost every room, asbestos covered furnace from at least 1950. If we compare fuel bills, John, I'm afraid I'll just start to cry...;) I just took an oil delivery yesterday for 190 gallons - cost me $240....Fortunately, my tenants cover the mortgage right now so it makes things easier.
With any luck at all, all of the problems around here will be solved within the next year in the simplest manner possible - we're hoping to move...LOL. It just appraised at more than twice what I paid a year and a half ago so we're going to put it to work hopefully...;)Mel's enclosure is nearly done and Dharma's is half way there. I should have them both finished in the next two weeks once I get the new "lizard hauler" ;). Know anyone who wants to do some investing ?? Or anyone who knows about "antique" floor model safes ?....LOL
