Although this can be a concern, and sometimes Sleestack prefers to hide in his hidey spot instead of bask-- I do think it is important for every ig to have a hidey place to feel safe and happy. If they feel like going in there for part of the day, no big deal, perhaps they are getting too hot. Now if they stay in there for several days, that would be something to worry about.
