You have to remember that there is no such thing as a " tame" iguana . Iguanas can trust you and they can tolerate you . As for your idea of holding him less you need to do the opposite hold him MORE . The more time you spend with him the more trust he will have in you . I would also like to say the there are many other things that can make an iguana aggressive these include but not limited to diet , housing , noise , heat , humidity and ever another pet or person in his territory . O yes almost all this is multiplied by the fact that this is breeding season . If you need any help figuring out any of this feel free to email me .
