Foot in bowl

All Roxy likes to do these days when she eats is take like 10 bites when I put the food in her cage, then she just sits there (sometimes for a very long time) with her foot in her bowl. And then will just leave up to the top of her cage. Why? I don't know why she likes doing this. Any ideas?
