Got some real sun today...

I took the new iguana out for some sunshine today. Since it's only about 58 degrees out today, (not hot enough to put him out in an outdoor cage) I sat in the car with him for 45 minutes while he basked on the dash board. (I had a towel on it so it wouldn't burn his tummy--I know how hot a dash board can get.) He seemed to really enjoy the view outside, and the sun, as well. But you're right H.D.--with just that little bit of sun, I did notice that he was more assertive and he even puffed up his dewlap at me when I approached him when it was time to come in. I want him to become healthy and strong, but I AM hoping he'll stay the sweetheart he is now! I don't want a "Harry" on my hands! LOL
