hi my male iguana snapped off about 1inch of the tip of his tail i used bentadine to clean it and neosporin ointment so it wouldnt get infected . it grew back about 3 to 4 inches and was crusty i got nervous and snapped it with my fingers i called the vet and broght him in she said it was normal and it only got crusty becayse the blood flow had stopped at that part of the tail she said it didnt needed to be cut off or he didnt need any medicine .the vet said the crusty part will fall off by itself and it will reegrow again . mike
