This is great, I'm sure that with all your help I can stop this HORRIBLE disease on poor Yago. Thanks to all in the forum for raising my hopes again. Lisette

: Hi! Can MBD be reversed, or just stopped? Had an exceptionally nice day yesterday and took Yago to the park. She loved sitting on a tree and basking in the sunlight. Looks like it'll be a nice day today too so guess were heading on another sun basking picnic. Also, I can't seem to find the translation to "collard greens" (in spanish). I know it's a diff. question but, what do they look like? I feed Yago cilantro, zuccini, green beans, beet leaves, "nopales" (it�s a kind of cactus plant that most people love around here but I hate),mango and papaya. Is this o.k.? The source of calcium I use is "ESU Iguana Calcium" Spray for green iguanas and herbivorous reptiles. CALCIUM/PHOSPHOROUS 2:1 Should I add anything else?
: Another thing.. Does anyone know if there is any kind of home lighting (meaning not made for reptile housing) that resembles those for reptiles. Fluorescent, wide spectrum, Uvb. I have the correct light sources for now, but they don't sell them here and I'm always worried that they'll burn out. Next time I go across the border to visit your land I will sure bring back a loadful.
