They can stay under for up to an hour without
coming up for air.
Or Ig did this when he was moved to his new habitat.
Trust me he scared the *beep* out of me.
He stayed under for almost 3 days just coming up about every hour
before he finally came out of the water
he has a little pond in his habitat , no chlorite)
He did this because he was scared after his move
and this was his way of hiding.
