In Reply to: But should I do it even though she won't get the UVB? posted by Russell Cindi on February 19, 2001 at 07:06:41:
My iguanas like to sit in the window and watch the people, dogs, birds and traffic. It is a great change of scenery. Get a florescant UVB bulb such as ZooMed Reptisun or Iguanalight 5.0 or Vita light or ESU. Twelve hours of this light within 18 inches of the iguana will help. Spring is around the corner. In two months, you will be able to get an hour of real sun on good days. At least in Virginia we can. If the temperature is above 70, a 1/2 or hour of real sun will help.
