ohhhh I love the nose peelies! ;-) Glad to hear he's filling out. Sorry I can't be of help on the tail issue-- none of mine have lost any parts of their's (knock on wood), but perhaps put antibiotic on it until the vet can have a looksee. I guess the main thing to worry about is gangrene but hopefully it's just going through the healing process. Good luck and let us know what happens.
: I just want to get your opinion. I will DEFINETLY be calling his vet tomorrow, or tuesday (not sure if they will be open due to the holiday). Anyway it concerns Double D's tail. I know they amputated part of it, but about half way up his tail its alot darker, and has a harder feel to it than the part closest to his body. He can move it JUST FINE (dog's nose can vouge for that LOL). Is this something I need to be concered with?? Will that portion have to be removed???? Like I said Im DEFINETLY calling his vet, its been this way since we got him but just seems to look diffrent than other iggys tail pics I see. Also when they go through a shed do they get an extra attitude????? Double D is getting bigger, hes starting to get a tummy and not seeing his ribs :o). His head and whole body seems bigger. How often do they shed???? We are giving him baths and the dead skin at times seems to have problems comming off, SO I soak him then rub him gently not forcing any off, well except one piece that was covering his nostrils, he kept sneezing and trying to scratch it with his foot so i helped it out a bit, it was partialy off but kept flappign back over so I just gently pulled it off, he immediatly stoped sneezing, it was like 2 or 3 and none since.
