In Reply to: Arugula & diet question... posted by Kimberley on February 18, 2001 at 20:52:04:
I don't know about the Arugula off hand-- you could look it up on Jen Swofford's site-- I'll post the link.

Overall your diet looks pretty good. I would lose the spinach though (it does more harm than good, but you could use it as a rare treat)
: Hi - I bought some Arugula at the store tonight to add in Zoe & Stones food. I thought it might help with "water" intake, as I doubt it has any real value as a food other than being a water source.
: Am I right & is it ok to add this to their diet?
: Also, can anyone give me ideas on how well the diet I feed my igs is?
: Stone: Collard Greens, green beans, mustard greens, dandelion leaves, spinach, escarole, SOME of the following he eats from time to time (he is picky) - carrots, parsnip, butternut squash.
: Stone hates all fruits... go figure.
: Zoe:Collard Greens, green beans, mustard greens, dandelion leaves, spinach, escarole, carrots, parsnip, butternut squash & strawberries.
: Am I feeding a well balanced diet?
: Once & awhile I would add Watercress to the diet but it was hard to find & always looked poor.
