stringy/rubbery saliva or a different color? If it is string saliva it could mean a respiratory infection (quite serious). Either way I would keep your ig very warm until you can see the vet (asap). Keep us posted and let us know what you find out. Good luck.
: My beloved iguana Larry has a sort of mouth goo. I was playing with him this morning as I normally do. I noticed his jaws looked a little swollen around the gums. Not bad. But a little. I opened his mouth (much to his irritance) and noticed it was a little gummy around the edges I cleaned it out the best I could with a clean fingernail (love that antibacterial hand lotion) And then tossed him in a betadine bath... Mixed with warm water. I used a q-tip to rub a little of the betadine water on his gumline. He seems happy enough and he's eating just fine. I was just worried that this could be something more serious? There is no discoloration at all. I could cart him to the bet again cause he needs more panacur anyway but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion they would be greatly appreciated.
