I am so glad you are planning to adopt - I think it is *more* critical for us in Canada to NOT purchase iguanas. They do not belong here. I have a really sad picture - I thought it was cute when I took it - it is Iggy looking out the window at the world covered in snow last year. When I saw the developed picture, it was so sad...this poor iguana looking out at the snow - with no hope of feeling fresh air for months... then I wondered what on earth a lizard like this was doing in Canada. I have felt like a jailer since that time...
