Note that this study was done a while ago and it
was done with Vitalites. It is very true that with
lower powered UV bulbs you need 6 to 8 hours of
exposure to equal one hour or whatever the ratio
is. However - The Zoomed 5.0 has been proven to
be a LOT stronger then the Vitalites, and if your
iguana is not getting at least 15-30 minutes of
unfiltered, natural sunlight, the iugana does need
A UV bulb. One part of this that I very strongly
agree with is this - there is no substitute for
nautral sunlight.
