No, I'm not related to HD but I take that as a compliment, one I'd gladly admitt to any day of the week after getting to know him some from his posts.

While I don't think Xta was singling me out specificly and I do not take anything as a personal atack -after the considerable dealings I have had lately with others who seem to enjoy to bash my husband and I, even though they will not cop to it, when our opinions don't concur with theirs, I did want to share my feelings on the matter.

I do not want to leave this forum -I've enjoyed the seemingly open table experience that goes on here and I have learned a thing or two here and there. What I can not and will not abide by is exactly what I posted earlier -the attitude that it's okay if you have an opinion as long as it is the same as mine and that your opinion doesn't offend me.

I'm glad Xta threw it all one the table, even if I would not have done it or said things the same way. I think that it takes a certain amount of moxy to speak your mind and I like people with moxy! I also respect someone who says what they have to say and stands by their convictions when saying it. Afterall, it takes all of us to make a unique and interesting forum!

As for me personaly, for just as much as I hope to learn from my fellow humans, I believe that in order to recieve you have to give. Sometimes, approaching someone in public with their errors gets you much further than if you approch them behind closed doors. It can take that little extra push to get them to stop and listen to what you have to say and stop being defensive. I know that I have needed that public push from time to time in my life and with a little hindsight have come to appreciate it, even if I didn't get it in the heat of the moment.
