I think she's going to loose about a foot of her tail

Cindi pointed out to me that Lucy's tail starts looking bad right where there is a black spot on the side about 12" from the tip. It is caved in on both sides up to that point and now is brittle about six inches from the tip. I can't wait until Friday when she goes to the vet. I am nervous about this.
