You are correct on the connection between bananas and phosphorous. HOWever, at least around our house, bananas are used just as a "treat". While it is true that the constant daily feeding of bananas WILL cause problems, unless your ig has a specific health problem regarding phosphorous levels, there should be no reason for an OCCASSIONAL snack.Occassional being defined as once or twice a month ASSUMING that an iguana is on a well rounded diet already.
Liken it to cookies and chocolate cake for us....;)
