I posted before about shed eating and I asked another ? but maybe you didn't see it so I'm reposting in hopes of getting an answer as this is something I have never noticed before. I understand that eating shed is bed however ... she is not eating shed from the enclosure floor (we clean daily) she is literally eating it off her feet! I do all the usual when shedding time comes but I am always afraid to force it off and injur her -so, when I can't remove shed it stays until it loosens up. That being the case, is there anything I can do to keep her from eating the shed off her feet? She doesn't do it often that I know of, I have only caught her 3-4 times tops but now having the info that it is not good for her to be doing this I am wondering how to stop it.
Any info or resource you can give me to go read will be greatly appreciated!
TIA
IC
