Everyone! Please stop the "Letter to Petco Campain"!

I'm very grateful for all of you who have shown interest in writing Petco a letter of concern for how their iguana is being cared for, but due to recent developments of this situation, I am asking that you NOT send a letter to Petco--at least for now.

"Mr. D" has contacted the people over the manager at Petco here in Orem, and is waiting for them to call him back concerning the Petco ig. Turns out that Petco isn't supposed to have a store iguana afterall, that that they might be forced to sell her...we're just waiting to find out more.

So, while I think the letter campain idea is a good one, because of how things are starting to take shape I think it's best to just wait and see how things turn out.

We'll know by next Tuesday what happened on the corporate level of Petco, and whether or not they have to sell/adopt her. If so, then there'll be no need for your letters. I'm trying to stay on very good terms with Petco so that in the event that they DO have to sell her, they'll give me first shot at buying/adopting her. If they start to receive a bunch of letters right now, they might get angry with me and not let me have her.

So, please, please HOLD OFF from writing the letters until we know we really need them to be sent.

Thanks for your cooperation--I'll let you know if/when sending letters to Petco is necessary.
