Trip to school a success!! Thanks for your help :)

I took Squiggs to school with me yesterday and the kids loved it!! I brought in a heating pad (just for the day) and kept her in a BIG plastic tote. Fortunately the temps raised yesterday to around 60 degrees (better than 10). I took her out and let the kids pet her then they washed their hands. I made sure to explain that what I brought her in was not her permanent cage and iggys take ALOT of work. Many had never seen an ig so big and never knew they got that big. Next week I am teaching a unit on China and others from my classes are teaching on other parts of the world and are going to borrow Squiggs for their lessons and talk about igs and proper care of them as well... Hehe...look what I started :) Thanks and Squiggs is happily at home in her cage again!!
