Got my ZooMed light today...

Got my light today and wired up a single 4' fixture. I just don't have the energy to install it tonight. I hope Lucy will forgive me (I hope I don't have to change her name back to Louie again). I had to go up on the roof when I got home from work and shovel off two feet of snow because we're going to get a snow changing to rain event tomorrow. Excuses excuses. I will try for tomorrow night. Lucy hadn't eaten much today, but when I came home and grabbed some collard green and opened the front of her cage, she was ready to eat! She seems to like eating out of your hand. I am very aware of the teeth when feeding her. I can see the pattern on the greens after she has bitten and released. Needle teeth, huh? I hope I never find out how they feel. Should I offer my finger to her and let her bite it so she will know that it isn't food or does she already know that? (Like I'd do that)I'm looking into the livingroom from where I'm sitting and I can see Cindi with Lucy sitting on the couch. Lucy is stretched out on Cindi's chest and Cindi is gently stroking her. Lucy must be thinking "What a life!" I can't wait to see what kind of a difference the UVB makes if she's already making this kind of progress without it. Russell.
