Both my igs have done this nearly every time they are in contact with carpeting-- no matter what room they are in and what color the carpet is! I don't get it for the life of me but they will yank on it until I clap my hand and yell. Sleestack will stop momentarily, long enough to look at me, then defiantly continue his eating.
