I went to the reptile store again today and talked with the girl who actually cares about the iguanas rather them making money. She told me she has been at the boss for months to steralize the one cage with all the mite infested iguanas. she even said what a sleaze he was. i hope you all dont look at this as giving up but i was too worried about the mites and infesting my other ig so I took him back today and she is going to treat a particular iguana for me for the next few days just to make sure he is mite free. i came home and bleached my cage and the area around it. my porch is glass so it stays warmer then the average porch. just as i thought everything was going to be fine, i looked out of the window onto the porch and saw pumba scrachting his head, that doesnt neccessarily mean anything does it? i hope they didnt spread, the mite infested ig was in a cage and pumba was in an aqaurium 30 feet away, you think? i wish i would have never brought him in my house. thank you to all for alerting me on this.
