As far as calls, well, try animal control and find out who regulates petshops. Here in New Hampster it's the Dept of Agriculture. Not sure if they handle it federally or not. Check with city hall or the state house. They may be able to point you in the right direction....;)
And as far as the mites, try the oil - at least it will get rid of the surface mites. Then start the Betadine baths. I'm waiting to hear back about the Listerene. Will let you know as soon as I find out. Keep us posted.
