Just an idea as im NEW to this

What about a special treat, does he have a fav fruit or veggie?? Maybe a small piece in your fingers to intice him to you then you could get ahold of him? Im new to this all so its just an idea, Double D and I are "working" on the come and catch me game, Or the Lets see if when You open the cage I can jump into mid air and make you catch me before I get free rome over the room LOL. : I have had my ig for almost one year.... i got him when he was about 6in and no bigger around than a pencil had him in a 20 gallon tank and i could handle him fine i mean i could pick him up pet him no problems about a 2weeks after i got him i built him a cage its 6.5ft tall 5ft wide and 4 deep and in this cage i can hardly ever catch him.... he runs from me tails whips never tries to bite even when i do catch him... he has bit my dad before but dad antagonized him so he deserved it but anyway anyone know of an easier way to catch him i try to pick him up every day and play with him for aabout 30 minutes or so everyday
