i know what you mean about the temp and the escaping- you're right! just so you know, angel spends at least 12 hours a day in his heated cage. and the little iguana leash attaches well both to him and to me. boyfriend isn't going ANYWHERE!!! i do appreciate the thought, though- those are important reminders : )


: Happy to hear about your new baby. Just two reminders. They are notorious escape artists and they need 85* heat to digest their food. I know you knew that but had to say it anyway. Sorry. It just scares me when I see them uncaged outside because they bolt so quickly. Maybe it is because I am not young and know the chances of me running one down are slim to none. I think your evaluation of them calming when removed from their accustomed environment is pretty good as I also have seen this at times. I am very happy for you, and I know Angel will receive the best of care. Happy Herping, Iguana03
