Heed HD's warning.
Just because they look similar when babies, they aren't. Food, HEAT, habitat.....
My ig just glared at my 2 water dragons when they were out of the cage. I could tell if Ig got out, even being a Folivour, he was gonna eat those quick green things.
And on the tank issue- EVEN H2O DRAGONS SHOULDN'T BE IN AN AQUARIUM!!!!!! If you just got it, you will notice snout damage because water dragons, basilisks and sailtail dragons have no clue on glass and will scrape their noses off causing permanent damage. Get these two books- Phillipe de Vosjoli "green waterdragons, basilisks and sailtails. And I can't find it but it's a "Barron's" book, it's brown with a brown anole on the cover- Anoles, basilisks and water dragons(or something like that.)
The books are basic but cover the main points, and are excellent references as things come up.
Good luck w/ the water dragon.(get it a friend!)
: Gerard,

: It's not getting along you need to be thinking about......I'd say you are not ready for an iguana in the first place, since you don't know that a TANK will not be large enough for an iguana. Unlike your water dragon, an iguana will be BIG and will require a very large amount of space. Plus, the requirements for raising an iguana are completely different from raising a water dragon, which is another reason you can't put the two together. Many people make this mistake and may get away with it, while the reptiles are young, but as they get older medical problems will develope, one will attack the other and the iguana will grow to a size that will require a larger tank.
: I would not recommend you even think about getting an iguana........sorry, that's probably NOT what you wanted to hear, but I think if you do some real hard research on these reptiles, you'll see where I am coming from.
: Sincerely,
: HD
