Hi there! I am new to this forum and new to owning an IG. I did lots of reading however before and after I brought home Miya. She is 3 foot long female IG. I think my husband is a little jealous of her(LOL) We have spent the last week getting used to each other and I have fallen head over heels in love with her! I do not think her previous owners were feeding her everything she needed and have put her on a healthy diet. She seems healthy enough though!(smiles) The question I have is to leash or not to leash? I give her plenty of time out of her cage and she trys very hard to get into trouble around the house!hehehe~~ She is starting to get used to her nightly bath~~ But she still can get all freaked out and tries to run away from me or claw me and once whipped me with her tail(ouch)LOL~~ But usually she is calm and loving~~ The problem is i want to be able to take her outside and I am afraid she will freak out when she is out there~ Is it better to get her used to a leash? Or just keep working with her until she knows i am her safety and running away from me is bad? Thanks for your input~~
