IMO, iguanas are one of the most dificult species to properlay care for and raise in captivity, however the rewards of having one that is well cared for far outway all the effort that goes into their husbandry. You really need to think of an iguana as your own child and provide the same quality care that you would for you own flesh and blood. Everyone else has made excellent points and I agree with eash one of them.
The Pic is of my 7 year old Launch Pad. He's almost 6 feet long and weighs over 15 pounds.
