Poor eyesight???

My next door neighbour has an iguana who has been getting startled lately. The iguana (Bailey) gets startled for some reason and then runs head first into a wall. Is this a sign of poor eyesight or is something else happening? The ig is sometimes constipated and when this happens she stops eating, of course. Any similar experiences? Thanks.
