: First of all, please turn off your CAPS. All capital letters on the Internet = shouting and is considered rude when used for no reason.
: To answer your question simply, the iguana's personality has as much to do with its' owner as it does anything else! If you do not take the time to properly socialize your iguana it is going to be aggressive regardless of its' sex. Breeding season for both the male and female iguana bring up issues and changes in temperment, much like when a human female is pregnant.
: After seeing your earlier post where you openly admitt thinking about getting rid of your male for a female -you can rest assured that no one with an ounce of sense or compassion is going to adopt ANY ig to you. Pets are not disposable or interchangeable and people like you who think they are, are one of the biggest problems when it comes to iguanas.
: So, to answer your question as it pertains to you Mike -you shouldn't get another iguana at all and immediately find a better home for the one you have where the people won't care whether it is male or female, have a better attitude about his breeding season needs and will love him no matter what his attitude. I only hope you never reproduce because children aren't interchangable or diposable either!
