I mainly wanted to answer your post to let you know that I rarely see my Iguana actually drink from his water dish, even though I know he does once in awhile. I'm sure he get's most of his moisture from his salads though. I make sure to spray it down good with water before giving it to him. I think it's wonderful that you have givin Iggy a new home and it sounds like you are on the right track! You'll learn a lot over the next few months. Being an Ig owner is a real eye-opener! Enjoy!
