When they're high, they think they're the master of all they survey, including you! When Bug went to his new enclosure, in which the highest basking shelf is above my head, from his former enclosure where he was always below my head, we had MANY disagreements on who was alpha male! Shudder bobs, stink eye, cocked tail, and just a general attitude of "since I'm bigger than you now, I can slap (bite, eat, intimidate)you as I please" I have a step stool beside his enclosure, and when I suddenly grow to be higher than he is, he cools off. What all this is leading up to, is be careful when you reach up to grab the Ig sitting on your head! I know at least one owner who drew back a bleeding finger when trying to extract her Ig from her hair...
