: Yeah,
: I know what you mean Mike. My 4' long 3 yr old, Mel, just finished her gravid cycle. No eggs this time, but boy did she do a lot of digging and scratching. Not to mention that she didn't eat ANYthing while she was like that. Boy did I waste a lot of food on her too. And now that it's all over with she won't STOP eating. Two, sometimes THREE bowls a day. And on top of that, NOW she wants to come out and roam around and bask in the window and just hang all over me. Geez, wish I had looked into this whole iguana "thing" a bit more before I decided to take in FIVE of them because people just don't know what they're getting into and decide that instead of trying to become more educated about them and figure out how to handle and care for them appropriately they just put them up for adoption or in worse cases just throw them in the woods of, oh say, NEW HAMPSHIRE in OCTOBER of all the tropical places to choose, or even worse, just throw them in a dumpster.
: Yeah, I can totally see where you're coming from, Mike. I should've gotten a dog. Oh wait, they eat and poop and want to play and demand time out of my day and even occassionally bite a bit too hard too don't they. What about fish ? Nah... All that swimming around and gulping fish food gets annoying too. Damn flapping fins.....

: It's late and I'm tired so I apologize if this is a bit harsh but SOMEone PLEEEASE tell me that they understood the the point that I'm trying to get across here.
