When we moved our last ig, Salvador, didn't poo for a week. Sleestack didn't take to his cage for months. You just never know how long it will be. You need to take him out, give him warm water baths to stimulate him. He'll eventually go now that he's eating. Good luck and keep us posted.
: I posted before asking how long iguanas usually are stressed out for, because we had built her a new cage. And the people who responded said wait a few days (she wasn't eating) but then she started eating. Now it's been about a week and she moves around her cage a tiny bit, eats half of what she used too, and refuses to let us touch her. At all. When we got her (adopted her) she was extremely friendly, letting us pick her up, and pet her from day one until we built her this new cage (three level cage, 6' tall, 4 &1/2 wide and 3' deep, shelves have turf, bottom is either newpapers or paper towels which she has always used as the new cage was just a large addition to the one her previous owners had her living in).
: She also has not gone to the bathroom at all.
: So my problem is that she won't let anyone pet her, she won't go to the bathroom, but otherwise is doing fine. She is really green again, and moves a bit.
: Anyone have any idea to what we can do? Will we have to re-tame her or is she just stressed out still?
