Hmmmm ... Ok, first question, how tall is the enclosure? Is there room for him to climb and hang out up high? Second question, is there too much reflection in the enclosure? One trick I recently learned was to make the room a little brighter than the enclosure and it cuts down on interior reflection.
Dharma and Mel inparticular seem to rub for 2 reasons, itchy faces and wanting to get out and run around. Are his nostrils blocked by snalt or shedding skin?
Last question, are you sure there is no one in the room? Maybe he is aggrevated by the cats? We recenly had a homeless kitty in to care for it for awhile since the animal shelter was full (the price of a no kill shelter is that there is always a waiting list) and just the sight of the cats p@ssed everyone off!
Again, these are just guesses on my part!
