Thanks to everyones suggestions. The one that I'm trying right now is Derek's who suggested draping a big towel in front of you to the floor- and when he charges and bites it drop the rest on him then move him away from you. Already he is showing more interest in towel hunting. I noticed one time I was sitting on my bed reading a book and he jumped at my face and I smacked him(not hard) with it- now when I read a book he thinks I'm being aggressive. The thing is they pick up on things.
To show how he has realized he isn't allowed to be mean now, I've actually put him in the bath something he hasn't allowed me to do since he was bright green! He still hated it, but that is my new cause- to get him hydrated more thoroughly than a mister.
