I don't know if this will help, Penny, but Here is our site with pics of Baby's cage. We have plywood all the way around and garden mesh in the front. Baby's basking temps are at 95 degrees and he has plenty of ventilation so it really isn't that hard to keep the temps where they need to be. Good luck!
PS, Baby is going to be needing a new cage probably with-in a year or so. I would recommend building bigger than what we have done. We live in military housing so have no room. I let Baby roam whenever he feels the need. He knows just how to get back to his cage when he needs to warm up so we haven't had the problem of worrying about him getting too cold.
