I really appreciate your post to Phantom wherein you stuck up for me. It makes me feel good to know that I have friends out there who are behind me and what I'm trying to do with the Petco Ig.

After another sour attempt at trying to get her today, I needed to come home and read that I have support and friends out there. (Once again, they said no, and so I'm depressed and pretty deflated tonight.)
Thanks again. Glad you're out there.
Diana

I COULD act just as silly as you Phantom and give a sarcastic response but I will take the higher road here.

: First of all, before you decide to reply think about this... We are currently housing 5 iguanas, 3 of them came from owners who abandoned, abused and mistreated them. We ALONE are paying the vet bills along with purchasing all the necesities to properly house and feed them. We get calls/emails almost on a daily basis from people who will give us there ig for free -oh what a deal for us ... NOT! They're gonna give us their sick iggy for free and then we get to pay the vet bills they were too cheap to take on themselves.

: Just an FYI Phantom PetCo wouldn't let her pay the vet bills -it's company policy. How do I know? I've offered to do so for several animals in their stores and get the same answer every time -which is "no".

: Phantom you remind me of a person I once encountered on another message board... wouldn't surprise me if you were one in the same. If you don't like what she has to say, don't read the posts.

: Hey and since is was your idea to buy the iguana why don't you make the first donation to the cause!! I'm sure between her purchase price, a suitable enclosure, proper lighting and a few visits to the vet $500.00 would be great to get the ball rolling.
