Need some additional info about my IG.(My ig is sick pleas..

High, everyone and thank you all for the great help that I have been given since I joined this message board.

A have some additional questions about my Green friends health and some other things.

( I you don�t remember he have kidney problems ( severe ). )

Lately or the last three days he have been super active, he climbs out of his enclosure, which he haven�t done for a while, it is a good sign that he is more active, right ?

He still doesn�t eat as much as before, he only eats pear, if he a offer him a thin slice of pear he will eat it directly but if I offer him the rest of his diet, he doesn�t even lick it.�
But I manage to give him some of the other food to, when he opens his mouth to eat the pear as feed him some collard ( or is it kale, which one is nutritionally and for his health best ( severe kidney damage ) and some escarole, I also force him to eat the other by getting it in to his mouth while eating the pear.

I know that this isn�t very nice but he needs to eat it.

I�m not sure but it seems that he has a little problem getting rid of the water in his body ( he goes to the bath room two times a day ), his dewlap has grown but isn�t very filled, tonight it seems to have gone down a little bit.
Since the swelling of the dewlap just doesn�t effect the dewlap but the also the throat and tongue could it be a reason for why chose to not eat ( it might perhaps be hard for him or painful, I don�t know please help me, should I go to the wet and give him some steroids ) his MK salad since the pear and cantaloupe is much softer then my mix of butternut and parsnip and the other greens and veggies.

He also seems to have been having some trouble getting his water and ( medication )down, he have sneezed it up or spitted it our after been given it, could it be due to that his throat could be swollen.
He also kept his mouth open today by no reason, it couldn�t have been because it was too hot since he had been out for a while and wasn�t very warm and had only spent 5 minutes in his enclosure.

Could it be that he keeps his mouth open so that he can get more air down to his lungs since his tongue might be swollen, perhaps that would explain why Iguana�s with KF keeps there mouths open sometimes.

I read at an article about kidney disease in Mk�s site ( Clinical approach to .. ) that an Ig with renal should be given steroids and B ( 12 I think ) every 7- 28 days.

I now know that the steroids are for to keep the swelling down, but what is the B for, I got a tips that I should sprinkle some B12 on his food or give him a B injection.

Today when I gave him his first ( today ) bath he pooped as usually not diarrhea but soft and quite small but many ( at least it looked like ), his second poop where larger,
Is it important that I go to the vet, my vet isn�t there but they say that they have another reptile doctor, but I don�t think that I trust him, I called him to ask about his poo�s color and when my vet would back, do you know what answer he gave me on the poo part, if you are feeding him tomato that could be the reason of the color, I didn�t like that answer ),
( My vet will be back in one week, if he starts to eat less should I go then or I�m at the wrong track about the troat and tongue swelling.

The one thing that concerns me was that when I looked at it and started to take it away I found some small white things in his bathtub ( don�t have a shower so I use a large kitty box which he easily can get out of ) a took it up and examined it and it looked like the calcium that I give him, even though it is powder there are some larger pieces that brake as soon as you touch them which I do when I sprinkle it on his food and mix it in to the salad, I�m not sure but they felt a little harder then they do in the container.

Could it come from the food since he walked over it, but he had spent quite some time in the bathtub by then ?

Could some please help me, could it be crystallization ( or what it is called ; ). is it a sign that he is given to much calcium or could it just be some that he managed to get one in to his mouth and not digest it ???

The calcium I give him is produced by Herpcare and do not contain any vitamins or phosphor, I would like to get on which are used for human consumption, but it seems like it is impossible. The only one I found was flavored with mint, and did contain other stuff then pure calcium.

My last question for now is does any know where you can get cheap and good cool mist humidifiers, I bought one with hot steam , the only one I found, but I don�t really like it since it heats up his enclosure and makes it like a sauna if you close the openings ( doors ), could it make the air to hot so that he get dried, and the humidity is higher when I mist the enclosure.

PS. It seems that he doesn't want to stay in his enclosure he tries to get out, why ?
He have never shown any bad feelings about his home.
