As others have said, the bigger the cage the better. We use 2 36" strip lights with reptisun 5.0 bulbs about 18" apart, with two incandesent heat lamps in between them. The top basking shelf is about 12" below this setup. The UVB strips are always on during the day, and we use one or two of the heat lamps depending on temps and need. Hope this helps....
