Kiwi's tongue/ Update

Kiwi went to the Vet today. Her lungs and heart sounded OK. It appears the open mouth breathing and tongue hanging out is caused by a large growth or infection under it. So when she shuts her mouth completely, it is difficult for her to breathe. It could possibly be Stomatitis or an abscess but we think most likely it is bacterial or maybe something imbedded which is now infected. I will be treating her for a few days with Baytril and then switch to another anti-biotic (not sure of the name). If no response is seen she will have to be put under for a close examination and biopsy sample taken. Happy Herping, Iguana03 PS Thanks to iZ's Mom and Roman for your replies and concern.
